Frequently asked questions
Which format fits our club?
The club ranking is flexible and points-based – ideal when many matches should happen across different levels. The pyramid suits classic challenge play with clear promotion rules. Tournaments and One-Point Challenges are event formats for fixed dates.
Who maintains the rankings?
Members challenge each other and enter results themselves. Club managers create formats and can step in if needed – day-to-day operation needs little supervision.
Can we run several formats in parallel?
Yes. Many clubs combine an ongoing pyramid or club ranking with tournaments and One-Point Challenges as events.
Do all members need an account?
Ongoing rankings (pyramid, club ranking) usually require participants to have an account. For tournaments and One-Point Challenges you can optionally allow signup via club link (without an account) or add participants manually.
Does it cost anything?
No. Rankings, tournaments and challenges are free for clubs and players, like the entire PLAYmunity platform.
